Install and connect HubSpot
Add SurroundR from the Chrome Web Store and approve HubSpot OAuth. Hunter is already in the managed enrichment pool — no API key to paste, no hunter.io tab to open.
Capture on LinkedIn
One click on a profile adds the contact to HubSpot — name, title, company, and LinkedIn URL from the feed you already work in.
Hunter fires in the round robin
On save, SurroundR's managed waterfall tries Hunter alongside Wiza, Prospeo, and FindyMail using SurroundR-managed keys. Order within the pool is automatic.
Verified email lands in HubSpot
When Hunter returns a match, verified email writes to standard HubSpot Contact properties — deduplicated against existing records on email, phone, or LinkedIn URL.

Paste your Hunter API key
In Settings → Enrich Settings → Your API keys, add your Hunter.io API key. Connect a provider using your own API key — key-backed providers can be ordered in settings and use your credits instead of Surroundr credits.
Set provider order
Drag Hunter to the position you want relative to other key-backed sources and the managed pool. Your key gives you fixed ordering — useful when Hunter is the finder your team trusts most.
Capture on LinkedIn
Same one-click capture into HubSpot. When Hunter is next in your order, SurroundR calls Hunter with your key instead of the managed pool for that lookup.
Your Hunter credits do the work
Key-backed Hunter lookups consume your Hunter plan credits, not SurroundR credits. Results still write to the HubSpot Contact record on save — per profile, not one-off dashboard searches.
